T R E C K | Transition Resources for Employment and Career Knowledge

About TRECK

TRECK is a GUSD program providing transition services for students with disabilities (17-22 years old) with IEPs who have finished high school without a diploma, and need continued support following a plan for their future.

GOALS

Just 3 goals.  We support students as they:

LIVE                      Prepare to live independently

RELATE               Establish and maintain a strong social network

WORK                  Seek and maintain employment

How TRECK Works

(the nuts and bolts of what we do with each student)

1. SET GOALS

independent living, relationship, & employment goals

2. CREATE OBJECTIVES

all the small steps between now and when goals are met

3. MAKE A PLAN

what, when, where, and how things will get done

4. START & FOLLOW THROUGH

work, college, volunteer, career education, connection to agencies, & independent living skills practice with support as needed

5. RE-EVALUATE

re-thinking the plan & making changes as needed

CONNECTIONS

We help connect students to services they may need now and in the future.  These are some of the organizations we connect students with:
